5. How Portafino works
Portafino is a technology provider, not a bank, payment institution or escrow agent, and does not hold customer funds. Payments, custody of funds, currency conversion and identity checks (KYC/KYB) are carried out by independent, licensed third-party partners under their own terms. Payment protection features describe how funds are released under agreed conditions; they are not insurance and do not guarantee the outcome of any transaction.
